Behold the outfit I wear pretty much once a week. Depending on the weather, the dress can be worn with flats or boots, over leggings, tights, or with some sandals. I like the flexibility to wear it here in NY for a meeting when the weather is in the 40s, or at work in SF with a motorcycle jacket and some flats. It's from Preen Line and it was $450, on sale from $800+ via Matches Fashion's sale last fall. The coat? It's pretty old by now, but I got it via some shopping trickery I like to call Buy Your Shit From Bloggers Because They Don't Pay For Anything But Love To Sell Their Free Shit for A Lot. Anyway, It retails for $2000+ but I bought it off a blogger and have zero regrets. The bag? Yes, that was a pricey buy, but it was from The Real Real. So the cost per wear on this item so far is well worth it.
What's my point with all of this?
These reusable pieces are part of my uniform. They are so freaking easy to combine that it makes getting dressed a breeze.
